Family Solstice Walks 2026
Experience the magic of Bloedel Reserve after dark with family and friends! Wander the trails on a guided evening walk surrounded by the warm glow of solstice lights and the beauty of the winter landscape. These festive walks offer a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season, explore nature together, and create lasting holiday memories.
Designed for families of all ages, the Family Solstice Walks invite guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Reserve in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.
The Family Solstice Walk follows an approximately 1.3-mile route and typically takes 60–90 minutes to complete. The route includes some stairs and gentle slopes.
Arrival and Check-In
Guest arrival begins at 4 p.m. Arrive early to enjoy a cozy fire pit and sip a warm beverage before your walk begins promptly at 5 p.m. Please allow sufficient time to park and check in. We may briefly wait for the group to gather, but please do not rely on a delayed start. Late arrivals may miss part of the walk, and once the group has departed, we may be unable to help you join them.
