Adaptive Stroll & Roll Solstice Walk 2026

Experience the beauty of Bloedel Reserve after dark during our Adaptive Solstice Stroll & Roll. This special evening offers a shorter, self-guided route for visitors who prefer a gentler experience, including families with strollers and guests with mobility considerations.

Follow the soft glow of lanterns through the winter landscape, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and seasonal lights at your own pace. Unlike our guided Solstice Walks, this experience is self-led, allowing participants to move comfortably along the designated route.

The Stroll & Roll follows an approximately 0.75-mile, out-and-back route along a paved roadway. The walk has no stairs and takes approximately one hour. Please note that, while the route is designed to be easier to navigate, it includes a section with a 9% grade and is not fully ADA-accessible.

Arrival and Check-In

Guest arrival begins at 4 p.m., and the Stroll & Roll begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2026.

Please allow sufficient time to park and check in at the Gatehouse Arrival Garden. Before beginning your walk, enjoy a warm beverage by the fire pit and browse the Shop.

Maps and lanterns will be provided. Participants will follow the designated route independently.
