Experience the quiet beauty of Bloedel Reserve after dark. Wander the trails on a guided walk surrounded by the glow of solstice lights and the stillness of a winter evening. These walks offer a peaceful opportunity for reflection and connection with nature. Participants are asked to remain silent throughout the walk, allowing everyone to fully appreciate the sounds and serenity of the Reserve.

The Silent Solstice Walk follows an approximately 1.3-mile route and typically takes 60–90 minutes to complete. The route includes some stairs and gentle slopes.

Arrival and Check-In

Guest arrival begins at 4 p.m. Arrive early to enjoy a cozy fire pit and sip a warm beverage before your walk begins promptly at 5 p.m. Please allow sufficient time to park and check in. We may briefly wait for the group to gather, but please do not rely on a delayed start. Late arrivals may miss part of the walk, and once the group has departed, we may be unable to help you join them.
